Proposal Title: Lo Inflight Replanning

Abstract:

OR Concepts Applied proposes to develop methods for inflight replanning and onboard selection of maneuvers and flight paths. Inflight replanning is particularly challenging for low observable (LO) aircraft since even small deviations from planned routes can lead to detection. This Phase II effort focuses on LO aircraft and their special inflight mission planning needs. We will define and document operational and system requirements, so a software system can be developed. Representative cases will be demonstrated using a simulator. We will also investigate military rules of engagement and develop protocols to maintain deconfliction while performing inflight replanning.
