UAV Commander FAQ
Running UAV Commander on Vista
Problem:
The UAV Commander CD fails to load when run with the message "The installer is unable to run in graphical mode. Try running the installer with the -console or -silent flag."
Solution:
If you wish to run UAV Commander, you can navigate to your CD-ROM drive and double click on UAVCommander.bat (note that this may require permission to run in administrator mode).
If you wish to install UAV Commander, you can take one of two options:
(1) If you are familiar with command line arguments, load a command prompt, navigate to your CD-ROM root, and type "setup.exe -silent" as this will install UAV Commander at its default location in your Program Files\UAVCommander directory, or
(2) Navigate to your CD-ROM drive, right click on your setup.exe file, and select "create shortcut" to be placed on your desktop. Right click on the shortcut, select properties, and add " -silent" following setup.exe.
Problem:
When loading UAVCommander.exe, you get the following message: "Exception EFCreateError in module UAVCommander.exe at 00009EDE. Cannot create file C:\Windows\Temp\WBCS.bat.
Solution:
Windows Vista may have issue with the UAVCommander.exe file. A batch file performing the same operations as the executable has been included for your convenience.
To run UAV Commander from the CD, navigate to your CD-ROM drive and double click on UAVCommander.bat.
To run UAV Commander from an installed location, do one of the following:
